3 Real Estate Trends to Look for in 2015

Real estate agents are faced with unique challenges every day. The market is highly uncertain, customers’ preferences are changing, and technology has revolutionized real estate practices. I suggest the real estate agents to act proactively to stay successful in such an uncertain situation, and in order to remain proactive and alert, they must have the most recent knowledge of the Atlanta real estate industry.

With my extensive experience and knowledge of the Atlanta real estate market, I have compiled a list of real estate trends one can expect to see for the remainder of 2015.

1. People will search for real estate online

Even though buying or selling a property is one of the biggest financial decisions one can make in their lives, I have seen an increasing number of people conducting online home search. With the virtual property tours, more and more of my customers prefer to visit the property virtually without even going there physically. Not only it is more convenient, it makes the real estate process faster and more effective.

2. Customers’ priorities are changing

The selection of neighborhood is one of the major decisions in the home-buying process. When people visit Platinum Real Estate.com to search for their dream house, they look for multiple features. Some buyers are more likely to select a neighborhood for its schools while others might simply look for a house that’s located close to their work.

I anticipate that the priorities will change. Schools, employment opportunities, and other amenities are important, but more and more people will prefer to buy a home in safe and secure neighborhood.

3. Real estate agents will rule the industry

If you’re a real estate agent, you must have heard that the online listings and home-search mobile apps will replace the traditional real estate system. Let me tell you, this is just an assumption. The need for a real estate agent can be felt more intensely than ever before. With increasing real estate demand, it has become difficult for people to search and buy their ideal home at a reasonable price. Only an experienced real estate agent like myself or a full service real estate brokerage firm like Platinum Real Estate can help them find the right property at the right price.

In 2015, people will prefer working with a professional and experienced real estate agent to conduct their real estate transaction, and technology will assist them by providing them complete and accurate information.
